Maison Martell ages its eaux-de-vie only in fine-grained oak barrels in order to bring out the delicate fruity aromas of its spirits, produced using specific distillation methods.
For Martell Very Special Old Pale "red barrels", the cellar master exclusively used red oak barrels with fine grain for the aging process.
A perfect marriage of tasty fruit aromas and delicate woody notes.
At the eye :
A coppery color tinged with gold reflections.
Aromas of yellow fruits such as Mirabelle plum, Reine-claude, apricot and vine peach. With notes of wood and sweet spices revealed by the red barrels.
In mouth :
A cognac with a good balance which is distinguished by its fruit notes and its blend of sweetness and aromatic power.
