The Paul Giraud vineyard is located in Bouteville, in the heart of the Grande Champagne region. This village, nestled in the valleys of the premier cru of cognac, is renowned for the finesse of its eaux-de-vie. At the head of an old stock of cognacs accumulated over several generations, the Giraud family produces exceptional cognacs. The finesse and aromatic power of its eaux de vie have conquered the greatest establishments throughout the world.

Paul Giraud Très Rare is aged in Limousin oak barrels for a minimum of 40 years, giving it aromas of rancio, cigar box, leather and spicy flavors. Very complex on the nose and the palate, it offers a nice length.

From cultivation to distillation, Paul Giraud gives priority to an ancestral know-how to best serve the expression of his terroir through authentic cognacs that are not made from blends. From father to son, generations succeed one another at the head of this magnificent property of 42 hectares of vines. In order to preserve the quality of the Ugni blanc grapes, the harvest is still done manually. The vinification and distillation are done on the property. The aging in oak barrels brings all its nobility. The particularly humid cellars give an exceptional suppleness and mellowness to the cognacs of the house.
