However, there are in the cellars of the Boinaud family - which today administers the J. Dupont House, high-quality Cognacs, distilled in the strictest confidentiality. This is the case of this excellent Vintage 88. This 88th edition is strictly limited to 90 bottles.
While Cognac is usually the result of an assembly of different eaux-de-vie, the vintage comes from a single sealed barrel. This, in order to "let the magic of aging operate".
In tasting : the nose is full of fruit scents and elegant spices. It shows an exceptional maturity. In mouth, the texture is perfectly balanced. Sweet notes of spices dance in perfect harmony. The finish is full of surprises: first of all because of its length, but especially because of its reverberation.
