Gin G'Vine - Floraison

5 1
5/ 5

G'Vine comes from a crazy bet: can we produce a Gin in the traditional region of Cognac? Is it possible to distil it with grapes? And the final product, can it be divine? Well, Maison Villevert offers us the answer: three times yes!

Thanks to the white Ugni grapes of Charente and ten aromatic plants, G'Vine redefines the boundaries of Gin.

In tasting:
At sight, the dress is crystalline. The nose is delicate, sweet, very floral. Then comes warm notes of ginger and cardamom ... or even lime.
Once in the mouth, it is pleasant and silky. It is so sweet that we have to wonder if we are dealing with a Gin!
As its name ‘Floraison’ suggests, it is essentially about botanical notes: the taste is full of vine flower and juniper. Then, we find again the notes of the nose: cardamom and ginger. They appear very round and silky in the mouth.
Finally, comes the final : also delightful and carnal - while being very long and slightly sweet. Grape alcohol calms the usual power of gins, and makes it a very balanced, sweet and rounded spirit.
Service tips:
The G'Vine is also very pleasant in cocktails! Do not hesitate to combine it with two doses of tonic, two grapes and large ice cubes - all served in a large wine glass to better disperse the aromas of this Gin.
