Cognac Bourgoin - XO raised in Micro Cask
This XO raised in micro-barrel will surprise more than one connoisseur !
The Bourgoin House offers this amazing 22 years old Cognac finished in barrel of 10 liters. Bottle of 35cl, apothecary format.
Here is a spirit Cognac with an atypical aging!
An atypical brandy of XO cognac grape wine aged 22 years in the cellars has completed its aging in a 10-liter barrel, also called "micro-barrel" - crocodile brewing and burnt in the cellar for 55 seconds with a touching flame . This Eaux de vie wine comes from a double distillation in a still (similar to that of the stills of Armagnac with apricot) which allows aging to bring out all the aromatic notes of the barrels. However, we cannot reveal more about its production: the secrets of the terroirs are well kept by the Bourgoin family!
This cognac allows you to be tasted as an aperitif but especially as a digestive because the corn of maturation of this cognac is not found in finesse but above all to reconcile lovers of Speyside single malt with a dry round cognac, fruity and easy to drink.
On the nose and in the mouth, it develops tertiary aromas, typical of Cognacs with an excellent finish: bourbon vanilla, salted butter caramel, jammy strawberry.
Its alcohol level is 43% vol. It is contained in a 35cl carafe, apothecary format.
